Q1: What is the Antibac 2K Air Quality System?
- The Antibac 2K Air Quality System is an aroma therapeutic air purifying system that comprises of the Antibac 2K Magic Ball and the Antibac 2K Air Purifying Solution concentrates.
- The pollutants (e.g. smoke, dust, bacteria, odours) in the air are drawn into the Magic Ball and removed by the water, containing the air purifying solution concentrate. At the same time, the fragrance is released into the air.
Q2: Can I use the Antibac 2K essences in my Goodsphere and other air purifiers?
- Yes! The Antibac 2K essences are completely compatible with the Goodsphere, PureAire, and all other brands of water based air purification systems.
Q3: What volume of air is cleaned?
- The Magic Ball efficiently cleans an area of up to 350 square feet.
Q4: How much electricity will it consume?
- The Magic Ball consumes less electricity than a light bulb - about 20W. It is economical to keep it running for 24 hours, 7 days a week without supervision.
Q5: How often do I change the water?
- It will depend on the humidity. With low humidity, change water once a day. With high humidity, change it every two days. If used in smoking rooms the water becomes brown easily, so you will need to change the water everyday.
- Note: Once the aroma is gone, Antibac2K is still in the water. Discard water in your basin or toilet bowl to take advantages of its disinfectant properties.
Q6: How much Antibac 2K air purifying solution do I need per usage?
- It depends on your requirement and personal preference. Add a few drops of the concentrate to about 0.5 litre of water. For strong, stubborn odours, increase dose as required. The beauty of these systems is that you control the fragrance, simply increase/decrease the amount used depending on your own needs.
Q7: Are Antibac 2K Air Purifying Concentrate safe?
- All our essences are non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-flammable and are made with natural botanical extracts. However, avoid contact with eyes. Not for oral consumption.
Q8: How do I clean the Magic Ball?
- Lid: Wipe the inner and outer parts of the stainless steel lid with a dry cloth, avoiding the socket connection and without immersing it in water. Remove the plastic central cone by turning anti-clockwise until you hear a click. Soak the central cone in mild detergent and rinse it under a cold tap. Replace the central cone in the same position that it was removed from by turning it clockwise until it clicks back in place.
- Note: After cleaning, if the cone is not aligned to the original position that it was removed from, the cone will vibrate making the Magic Ball seem noisier. If this is the case, remove the cone again, turn it to the next slot of four and try again until it is aligned and no further vibrations or increased noise from the Magic Ball.
- Bowl: Clean the glass bowl with warm water.
Q9: Is the Antibac 2K Air Purifying Concentrate suitable for people with allergies?
- The Antibac 2K system is ideal for those suffering from respiratory complaints as it removes air contaminants such as dust, pollen, smoke, soot, spores, bacteria, virus, fungi, molds and volatile organic compounds that can affect one’s respiratory system.
Q10: Is Antibac 2K Air Purifying Solution Biodegradable?
- In accordance with OECD, a substance is “readily biodegradable“ if it has 60% or more biodegradation in 28 days. Antibac 2K Air Purifying Solution is made with botanical extracts.
Q11: How does Antibac 2K eliminate Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, viruses and fungi?
- Antibac 2K eliminates the Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, viruses and fungi by surrounding their cell membrane and starving them of their nutrients. Antibac 2K has shown to eliminate bacteria, virus and fungi.
Q12: Will the bacteria/virus/fungi develop resistance to Antibac 2K product?
- The bacteria/virus/fungi will NOT develop resistance to Antibac 2K product as the mode of kill is by surrounding the cell membranes of these microorganisms. This mode of kill is different from that of antibiotics.
Q13: The adaptor is very hot, after long operation. Is it safe to use?
- It has passed CE, UL, TUV GS and CB tests which means it is a safe to use home appliance. Avoid touching the transformer if it is hot.
Q14: What is the standard warranty for Antibac 2K Air Purifying Product?
- One (1) year warranty from the date of purchase, against manufacturing defects.
Q15: How long does the effectiveness of Antibac 2K Air Purifying Solution lasts?
- Once diluted in 1:100 in tap water the Antibac2K solution will function as an anti microbial and malodour remover. The essence aroma will be effective over 2-3 days as it gradually evaporates.
- However, even when the aroma has gone, the anti microbial and malodour properties still remain strong and effective in the water solution. Use the water in basins and toilets to act as an disinfectant.
