Here are a few of the FAQ's relating
to Goodsphere. If you have any other questions that are not answered

Q1. WHAT IS GOODSPHERE?
- Goodsphere is a total pure air system.

The Swiss-designed technology is simple and efficient.
- Toxins, pollution, dust mites, bacteria, smoke and allergens from the
air are washed in a bowl filled with water combined with a small amount
of one of the fragrances from the essence ranges.

Q2. CAN I USE THE GOODSHERE ESSENCES IN OTHER AIR PURIFIERS?
- Yes! The Goodsphere essences are completely compatible with the Antibac2k Magic Ball and all other brands of water based air purification systems!
- And you can use them in the Made by Zen Aroma Diffuers.
Q3. WHAT VOLUME OF AIR IS CLEANED?
- The airflow for the Goodsphere air systems is about 120ft³/hour (3.5m³/hour).
- The 'Original System' will efficiently clean an area of up to 800ft² (75m²).
- The 'Bubble' and 'Groove' will cover an area of 400ft² (37.5m²).
Q4. HOW MUCH ELECTRICITY WILL IT CONSUME?

The Original Goodsphere System only consumes 15W of electricity. It is
economical enough to keep running for 24 hours, 7 days a week without
supervision.
- The Goodsphere Bubble and Groove Systems consume under 2W of
electricity. It is designed to be used for a maximum of 12 hours per
day. Bubble/Groove Systems with the new improved motor (after April 2008) can
be used 24/7.
- For
both systems you only need to ensure that the water level stays above
the minimum mark. It is our experience that it only needs refilling
once a day.
Q5. HOW OFTEN DO I CHANGE THE WATER?
- Only if the water becomes dirty.
- If people are smoking in the room with the system you will see the water change to a muddy brown.
If the air is polluted it will turn from grey to black.
Q6. HOW MUCH ESSENCE PER USAGE DO I NEED?

When you first use the Goodsphere we recommend you use quarter to half
of one of the sample tubes you get with your Goodsphere to begin with.
Add more for larger rooms or for a more concentrated fragrance.

Once you have used the Goodsphere for a few times you can start to try
different essences and different quantities to find a level that you
like. The 100ml bottles of essence come with a pipette or use the
bottle cap as measurer. Larger bottles have a dropper fitted to the bottle top.
- The great thing about the Goodsphere is that you control the level of
fragrance - if you want a subtle aroma then use slightly less essence,
for a more dominant fragrance add a bit more - you are in control!
- Our system works the same way as conventional aromatherapy burners
and candles, however ours is safe to use unsupervised.

The fragrance will not become increasingly concentrated with continuous use.
- NOTE:
Stronger more stubborn odours will require more essence initially with
continuous use of the system for a period of up to one week before
results are noticeable.
Q7. CAN I USE ESSENTIAL OILS?
- No, essential oils do not emulsify effectively or safely with water.
Using essential oils can damage the motor and invalidate your warranty.
Q8. ARE THE ESSENCES SAFE?
- All our essences are non-toxic, non-combustible, non-alcoholic and made from natural botanical extracts.
- They have all been formulated to reduce the risk of irritation in accordance with IFRA 40th amendment.
- As with all pure essential oils, we recommend you to avoid contact
with the eyes and contact with the skin, and the essences are NOT meant
to be ingested.
Q9. DO I NEED A FILTER?
- No! There are no cartridges to replace like there are with other systems.
Q10. IS THE GOODSPHERE AN IONISER AS WELL?
-
The Goodsphere converts positive ions in the air into more desirable
negative ions. This freshens the air - with great benefits of the way
you feel.
- Plus, it does not throw black marks against the walls like other electronically charged ionisers.
- The clean air should be as if you are walking by the sea.
Q11. HOW DO I KEEP MY GOODSPHERE CLEAN?

The Bowl - For best results, rinse out the bowl with cold water and
wipe dry with a cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive detergents or scourers.
- The Lid - To clean under the lid of the Goodsphere, wipe around the
edges of the motor with a dry cloth. In the larger Original Goodsphere
System also wipe around the area where the plug lead enters the motor
housing. Remove the motor spoke by turning anti-clockwise until you
hear a click. Rinse the motor spoke under a cold tap or use commercial
lime scale removers to remove any blockages. Replace the spoke in the
same position that it was removed from by turning it clockwise until it
clicks back in place.
- NOTE:
When realigning the motor spoke after cleaning, if the spoke is not
aligned securely or sometimes to the original position that it was
removed from this may cause added vibrations and may make your
Goodsphere seem noisier. Make sure that the arrow on the spoke lines up
with the mark on the lid.
Q12. HOW DO I CLEAN ANY LIMESCALE BUILD UP?

Wipe around the glass bowl periodically to avoid excess buildup or it
can be soaked with either a commercial lime scale remover or, for a
more natural alternative, use a solution containing lemon or white
vinegar.
- For build up under the motor lid, use a moist cloth to
wipe away the lime scale using the same products you would for cleaning
the bowl.
